The lake Vättern is the second largest lake in Sweden, known for its clear water and unique fish variety. It is one of the deepest lakes in Sweden, with depths of up to 128 meters in some spots and an average depth of 40 meters. Vättern offers a unique fish diversity with 52 different fish species. The most sought-after fish species are salmon, trout and char. According to the rules in Vättern, each fisherman is allowed to catch up to 3 fish, with minimum sizes: salmon - 60 cm, char and trout - 50 cm.
Book Now!Our fishing method is trolling, which allows us to effectively catch our sought-after fish species. Fishing is conducted with deep rigs and paravanes with a maximum of 10 rods. We fish from the surface down to a depth of 30 meters. If weather conditions do not allow trolling, I can offer a guided and unique salmon fishing from the coast.
Book Now!Small Boat Trolling Vättern welcomes you all to the unique trolling fishing experience in Vättern. For those who want to stay and fish for several days in a row, the city of Gränna offers many accommodation options. Soon we will also offer our own accommodation, which makes it even easier to plan your unique fishing adventure.
Lets have a ”Skitfiske” (”Shitty fishing”) in Vätter! 😊 (In Sweden, we use the phrase "skitfiske" instead of "good luck" when someone goes out to fish).
